It seems the only significant difference between the G42 and the P365 is as you pointed out, the weight difference 11x9mm is a lot more weight than 7x380 (and a lot more fire power) and the width at the butt of the grip (which does matter to me as it pertains to concealability). The 42 is lighter and has a similar grip angle to the glock 17/19. I didn’t like that there wasn’t front slide serrations and the slide release was harder for me to hit compared to the bigger release button on the p365.
