I am looking for any info anyone can give on this Iver Johnson arms and cycle works hand gun. What I know is that it is a 5 shot, believed to be a 32 and the only info on the gun is a stamp on the butt reading pat June 16 96 - aug 25. The number on the trigger guide is 12 and the inside grip stamp is also 12.

The serial number on the left side under the grip is R66195. Under the trigger guard and under the top strap it has 66195 without the R. I wouldn't worry about the hammer resting on the firing pin unless you intend to carry it. The .32 SW is an anemic round, but a blast to shoot with black powder at the range.
