If you control multiple teams give those teams commissioner ability. I do this myself since I don’t agree with maddens ratings and like to boost some teams. Edit: last night I tried to do it and could only do it with my commissioner team. So I just added that power to the other team I control and it’s work for me.

You're able to have multiple human players within a Franchise where they can all control their own teams though. I suggest the first thing you should do is check to make sure that Coach Mode does exist in 23. That way, if it doesn't have Coach Mode, you can refund the game before going over the 2 hour mark.
